Find Drew County Inmate Records

Drew County inmate records are searched first through the county jail roster, then through state or federal systems if the person has moved out of local custody. A Drew County jail roster search can show current booking details, public mugshots, charge descriptions, and local inmate IDs. The county feed does not replace court records, Arkansas DOC records, BOP records, or ICE detainee records. Each source answers a different custody question.

Drew County Jail Roster Overview

The official online jail roster route is the Drew County sheriff's roster page, supported by the OCV Inmates Feed. The sheriff manifest names the feature "Inmates Feed," enables search, enables sort, and sorts by date descending. No login, payment, or subscription requirement was observed in the public feed capture.

The roster is for the Drew County Detention Center, the sheriff-run county jail in Monticello. It is the right place to check for a person who has just been booked by a deputy, Monticello police officer, trooper, or another agency and then transported to the county jail. It is not the right place to search for a sentenced state prisoner after transfer to Arkansas DOC.

The roster also should not be treated as a full criminal-history report. It is a current jail record source. Older arrests, sealed records, court dispositions, and official criminal-history checks follow different Arkansas record channels. For work, housing, credit, licensing, or insurance screening, use lawful FCRA-compliant procedures instead of a jail roster.

Use the Drew County Inmate Roster

Start with the person's legal name and any known booking date. If the spelling is uncertain, search the last name first and compare age, gender, race code, and charge description before relying on a match. The feed titles use inmate names, and the newest bookings appear first unless the sort order is changed.

  1. Open the Drew County Sheriff's Office site and choose Jail Information, then Inmates Feed.
  2. Search by last name or a distinct name spelling in the feed search box.
  3. Keep date-descending sort for recent arrests, or adjust sort if the public interface allows it.
  4. Open the feed entry and copy the inmate ID exactly, including punctuation.
  5. Call the jail if the entry is missing, incomplete, or says hold for another agency.

Drew County Roster Search Fields

The public Drew County feed is a feed-list search, not a large form with separate last-name, facility, date, and booking-number fields. That makes it quick, but it also means a blank result does not prove the person is not in custody. A recent arrest may still be in intake, and a sentenced person may have moved to DOC.

Drew County Inmate Profile Fields

Inspected Drew County inmate records showed booking dates, demographic fields, local inmate IDs, charge descriptions, and mugshot images. They did not show bond amounts, housing units, arresting agency, court dates, or release dates. If a roster entry lists "WARRANT" or "HOLD FOR OTHER AGENCY," call the jail or check court records before assuming the legal basis or release path.

Drew County Custody Lookup Paths

The Drew County jail roster, Arkansas DOC locator, BOP locator, and ICE ODLS are not interchangeable. A person can move from one system to another as a case changes. The sheriff jail page says Drew County holds some people awaiting transport to Arkansas DOC, so both systems may matter near sentencing or transfer.

The Arkansas DOC search is more detailed than the Drew County feed because it covers a statewide sentenced population. It accepts an ADC number, county, first and last name, facility, gender, offense category, age, race, and a required disclaimer checkbox. Drew appears as a county filter, and the facility/status list includes Drew-related waiting-list or Act 309/work entries. Those labels are state-custody status clues, not proof of a separate state prison in Drew County.

Drew County Jail Facility

The sheriff and county public-safety pages point to one county jail: the Drew County Detention Center. Official materials did not locate a separate municipal jail, county work-release annex, regional jail, ICE facility, BOP prison, or Arkansas DOC prison physically in Drew County.

Drew County Booking Records

Booking begins after arrest or custody transfer. The sheriff jail page says all arrested persons taken into custody are transported to the Detention Center for booking and incarceration. Jail staff then create a record, photograph the person, enter charges or hold descriptions, and classify the person for housing. The public feed appears after the record is made public, but no official update interval was published.

Booking charge descriptions are not the same as the filed court charges. A jail entry can say WARRANT, FTA, or HOLD FOR OTHER AGENCY without naming the full underlying case. Use Drew County court records after jail arrest to track formal charges, case events, dispositions, and judgments once the court case is filed.

Booking
The intake process that creates the local jail record after arrest.
Detainer
A hold or request from another agency that may affect release.
Classification
The jail's housing and security assessment after intake.
Disposition
The court outcome for a charge, such as guilty, dismissed, or nolle prosequi.

Drew County Jail Visiting Hours

The official visiting-hours page says Drew County Detention Facility visitation is available through a kiosk on Wednesdays and Sundays. It gives the jail question number for details but does not publish a dress code, photo-ID rule, child-visitor rule, visit length, appointment process, or remote-video vendor. Call before traveling.

Note: Confirm current visitor-list, ID, dress, child-visitor, and lockdown rules with the jail before visiting.

Drew County Mail and Commissary

Official Drew County inmate mail rules were not located. The sheriff commissary page says to check back for updates about commissary and does not publish a vendor, deposit link, fee, order day, lobby kiosk, or phone deposit option. Do not infer a vendor from another Arkansas jail.

If a Drew County inmate transfers to Arkansas DOC, the county jail's mail and money gaps no longer control. DOC online services list approved deposit methods, eMessaging, packages, prepaid phone service, and video visitation for state custody. Those are state-prison services and should not be treated as Drew County jail rules unless the county publishes the same vendor or process.

Drew County Records Request Fallbacks

No dedicated sheriff FOIA form was located in the official site capture. The sheriff FAQ says deputy reports can be obtained by calling or coming to the Sheriff's Office, and that reports have a fee, but the dollar amount was not published. The Administration page lists records, warrants, judgment and commitment orders, and case files as administrative duties.

For a booking record not visible online, contact the sheriff office by phone, in person, mail, email, or fax. Include the inmate name, approximate arrest or booking date, requested record type, requester contact information, and preferred delivery method. Ask whether any fee, ID, redaction, or mail delay applies before ordering.

The Drew County Sheriff app is another official access channel, not just a branding link. The OCV manifest lists Inmates Feed, Jail, Visiting Hours, Jail Administrator Courtney Hale, Commissary, Most Wanted, News, Staff Directory, Submit a Tip, and Sex Offenders features. The app can help when the browser roster is hard to use, but it does not replace a public-records request for older records or official copies.

Arkansas VINE is useful when the goal is notification rather than a copy of a record. The Arkansas DOC VINE page says the service monitors county jails, Division of Correction custody, probation, parole, post-release supervision, and prosecutor court information. VINE is free and anonymous, but it should be treated as a status-notification tool, not as the official Drew County jail record.

The official sheriff jail page is useful because it identifies the detention center and its booking function.
